Postscript

The joy of being Human emerges from the tempering fire of loss and grief, and the shedding of all that no longer serves us.

To sustain our growth, we must shed the past that we thought of as ourselves. The realization of the transient nature of our evolving life is often painful. Becoming accustomed to the letting go allows us to expand our capacity for growth.

We have grown comfortable within the walls which have protected us only to be shaken from that complacency by the ever-growing urgency to grow.

As we honor our departing self, recognizing the momentary sadness of our parting, we open our awareness to the ever-expanding sense of Self that we are meant to know.

Releasing the past catapults us into the present moment, which we are amazed to find is not static as we had feared, but dynamic beyond our imagining!

A kaleidoscopic multi-dimensional experience that defies description.

Inspiration / Author Note

I was amazed to find the form this one had taken. It seems that it wanted to be prose, but failed.
