Me Too

All experiences are personal,

Yet how can it be so,

When we share

So many feelings

That we think we hide,

Until we find the courage

To let them go outside,

And share then with one another

The secret shame we feel,

And in that act reveal,

By the sharing of our fear,

Our deepest inner yearning

To let our selves

Be real.

Inspiration / Author Note

We think ourselves unique in the fear of exposure, but it's universal. And once we find the courage "to let it go outside" by sharing with another, we think we have to hide. In that hiding, we lose the possibility of freedom.
