Justified

What need I do to justify my existence?
Some super human task,
A grandiose accomplishment
That dwarfs the apparent lack
Of anything important in my mundane life.
Perhaps something heroic
Another’s life to save
With a passing smile
And heartfelt hi
To a stranger
On the verge
Of suicide.
