Sillyness

According to some random AI generated response, "Sillyness" is the condition of being silly, characterized by a lack of good sense, foolishness, or playful absurdity.

Today I'm opting for playful absurdity.

On balance, I think we take like way to seriously. We're always rushing or worrying about this or that as if it's actually important. One of the basic laws of life, on this planet, is that everything is relative. So perhaps we should take a breath and ask ourselves the question, "Important relative to what?"

It's amazing how sobering it can be to rank our problems on a global or universal scale. Odds are that the possibility of rain on a day you'd scheduled a picnic doesn't compare favorably to the concerns of someone living in an active war zone, or those of a person living on a planet who's sun is going supernova.

What a blessing it is to live a life that consistently ranks the question of "what shall we have for dinner tonight" in the top 3 the day.

Author's note: If you're questioning the spelling of silliness, I suggest that you lighten up and enjoy the day.

If you've gotten this far, you might enjoy the poem titled Game On. Thanks...john
